Hello everyone I was gone for a while! On Saturday @ 6 in the morning, my softball team left for the Owatonna tourney. We got third with 4 wins and 1 loss. Anyway, after the tourney my mom drove me 3 and a half hours up to Bay Lake were I was having camp. We had a fun trip! Anyway, when I got to Bay Lake we had to call the camp staff and have them bring the boat over so i could get to the island. When I was on the island I walked into the chapel (confirmation camp ) and everyone from my church was like "MICHAEL!!!!!" nick and Danny ran up to me and gave me a !!! Well next, we ate and then had group time and then had canteen and then campfire and lastly campfire. On our way down to camp fire nick gave me a piggy back ride down a REALLY step hill...i thought he was going to drop me...well i sat by him and danny. Well Sunday night i could not sleep to save my life, either could my cabin, we were up like every hour.

MONDAY morning came around we woke up, changed, ate , had group time, then activity time, lunch, took our swimming test, etc. Nick was pissing me off so much that day . Anyway, it was a pretty normal day. At that campfire i sat by Kabel and Amy...that was really fun and it was really funny to hear kabel !!!!! I didn’t sit by nick cause he was pissing me off that whole day. So after campfire we had wash-up when i was done i was walking back to my cabin when nick and danny jumped on me, i gave them both a and then went into my cabin. After my cabin was done with highs and lows for the day we went to . OMG i slept SOOO good the rest of the week...thank god!!!!

TUSEDAY morning, we woke up, got changed, ate, had group time, activity time (amy, Hannah, Jackie, nick, me, brain, Gus, Lauren, Laura, Irene, and some others went canoeing) after we ate and had afternoon activity time (we all went swimming), etc. Then dinner came...we were eating in the chapel. The theme for the week was social justice, so john (the camp leader) came out and was like u will take a name out of a hat, it will have the name of a country on it sit with the country that is the same. When I got a country, it was Indonesia so i went and sat down. In front of the group i was with was water and rice. The other countries were Sudan Africa, Tango Mexico, and the USA. Then john was like "welcome to the fest of nation this is what you will be eating for dinner". The US had a huge 4-course meal, i had water and rice, México had plain toast, and Africa had lake water (which was actually REALLY nasty tea that tastes good if u add sugar). After we got done, eating john read off sats about world hunger. When dinner ended we went off into small groups, my nick sat against a tree...so one of my group leaders (who i HATED) walked over and tried to pull his hood down...i was like what the heck don’t....anyway after some talking we went to do a labyrinth...pastor joy was watching over it and rang a bell every 6 seconds to remind us that a kid dies EVERY 6 seconds from hunger....after we were done and after more talk they brought us down pizza...nick didn’t eat it and he was crying (which is out of character if u know him), he didn’t piss me off any more after that night...when we were down w/ groups we had canteen and then had campfire i sat by nick, Nolan, Jake, and amy. It was fun because some songs have REALLY funny actions !!!!! Let’s just say that Nolen and I ROCK at them!!!!! Well it was wash up time, so i went and did so....like normal i was one of the last girls in the bathroom...all the sudden i hear nick say " hey Michael do u think jake is hot?" (i think he is cute but not hot) so i was like no, and then nick was like I’m sure and the whole guys bathroom is like going "ohhhhh, jake.." u get the picture...so i walked out they were all waiting for me so i gave kabel, danny, nick, and yes jake a and then went to bed. Well our adults that were in are cabin left so we stayed up and had some fun!!!! My camera had a VERY bright flash in the dark so i started to flash it and we all would scream LIGHTING!!!!! Well after about 5 mins we looked outside and some girls were walking with glow sticks, so i held my camera up to the window and flashed it....they took off running like some one was casing with a knife!!!!!! We all cracked up!!!! Well we sat there and continued to flash it out of the to the boys cabin until we decided to go to bed. The next day we asked the boys and girls about it and told the girls what it was we had more in store for the guys....it was REALLY funny (u had to be there)!!!!

Now it is WEDNESDAY. We woke up, it was FREEZING, and the adults were gone again so we all sat up and started to talk. Until the bell rang for breakfast. It was so cold that none of us wanted to change...so i long w/ many others spent the whole day in our pjs (black-eyed pea pj pants***which which are little peas that have a black eye*** and red tank, and a sweater that Ella let me use). We had are normal day it was funny, but after dinner we headed over to the barn. When we got there we were like cool we are going to play volleyball...we were only half-right...it was water balloon volleyball !!!!! U throw the water balloon underhand to the other side and continue until it breaks either on the ground or on some one...well i got hit bad!!!!! About 15 mins. in the adults started to throw and hand out ones randomly and we started to throw them and not keep track....laura got one and when she was trying to throw it over it slipped and hit me in the head got my whole back completely soaked. Then the time came for the two killer balloons!!!! These things were huge!!!!! They gave me one I threw it at Nolan and it broke on her...nick got the next one, which he threw and got brain soaked!!!!! My team won!!!! Well now, it was time to head back to the cabins easy right???? WRONG it was a total down pour , so when they said go we all started to run...about two steps in i was like it doesn’t make sense to run I’ll get just as wet anyway!!!! So i called to Nolan, amy, nick, danny, kabel, and a few others to walk with me....they did and nick gave me a piggy back ride all the way to the front door of my cabin and even opened to door (how cute !!!!). So now i was so soaked like everyone else....when we got back we were supposed to dry of and meet in the chapel, well it didn’t make sense to change we would have gotten the clothes we changed into wet so me and some of my friends stayed in are wet stuff and headed over. Well we got into the chapel we sat around and waited for everyone else. John told us we were going to watch a movie (coach carter I LOVE THAT MOVIE !!!!) so we all got set up and watched to movie...Angela was on my left, nick on my right, danny and kabel and Nolan behind, laura amy jake and brain in front. I was SOOO cold so kabel let me use his sweatshirt and nick let me use his dry towel (once again how cute!!!!) well after the movie we went to wash up and go to . I gave them all a and went off to bed. When the adults left our room i ran outside w/ angela and we flash my camera in the guys cabin ....u should have heard them scream ***i got it on tape***, anyway we ran back laid back down and played with it in our cabin....then john walked in and goes " u aren’t models so i don’t want to see any flashes or runways in here....if i have to come in here again ***like a 5 sec. pause*** u wont be happy". Well i cracked up when he left which lead to everyone cracking out...after that, we went to bed.

THURSDAY we woke up and Jenna ***one of our cabin adults*** told us that john was messing with every cabin last night and he didn’t really care if we were flashing things....which was good cause we didn’t want kp ****kitchen patrol, which means u clean the kitchen after a meal****, so we ate cleaned up the camp and said good byes, then got on the boat that took us off the island and to the bus. I sat on the back of the bus w/ the cool people ***there is or will be a picture in my scraps***. It was a fun ride home...and it was a REALLY fun trip that I’m glad i got to go on...the next REALLY BIG HUGE trip is the youth gathering in Texas July of next year i cannot wait !!!!!!!!
